About the master
Hosein Zare is a ney maker, teacher and performer, and director of the Ramesh art school in Marvdasht, Fars. He began with the flute and sorna as a child, studied the Persian radif under masters in Tehran and Isfahan, and started making instruments in 2006.
He has performed at Persepolis, the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the Fajr Music Festival, and international festivals in Georgia and Türkiye.
